New Leak Confirms Battlefield 2042 Beta Schedule

The recent leak about Battlefield 2042 beta tests seems more and more probable. All thanks to the (in)official information from the Chinese website Bilibili.

Rumors about the tests of the new shooter by DICE are confirmed. Chinese streaming platform Bilibili revealed the start and end date of the Battlefield 2042 beta.

Tom Henderson reported about the leak on Twitter. As he explained, BF2042's category was recently added to the website, and the title has an official account on Bilibili. This was followed by a message informing about an "event" scheduled for October 6-9. Henderson stressed that this doesn't mean the beta will end on that date. There will simply be an ongoing action with streamer bonuses during that time.

The previous leak spoke of two dates for the start of testing: October 8 for everyone and October 6 in early access. So we're guessing that the aforementioned "event" refers to the latter option and will last until the start of the fully open beta. The October 9 date is probably due to the difference in time zones.

Henderson reports that DICE is expected to reveal information about the open beta this Wednesday, which will come in the form of a new trailer. However, he doesn't rule out the possibility that Bilibili's mistake will speed up the trailer's release. It remains to wait patiently for official information.

Battlefield 2042 will launch on November 19, after a slight delay. The title will be available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
