Battlefield 2042 Beta Footage in 4K on Ultra Settings

Battlefield 2042 beta testing has brought with it plenty of gameplay demonstrations from DICE's new shooter - even in 4K resolution on Ultra settings.

Open beta of Battlefield 2042 attracted a large crowd. At the hottest moment, the game was played simultaneously by more than 127,000 Steam users (via SteamDB), and this is only one of the five platforms on which the beta is available. It's not surprising - the game's (excessive?) popularity was already evidenced by server problems.

Of course, many of those testing the game didn't fail to record their adventures in the new Battlefield. As a result, plenty of unofficial gameplay footage has already hit the web, including some in 4K resolution on Ultra settings. The latter is courtesy of youtuber JackFrags.

The crowds have also resulted in a number of reviews of the current version of Battlefield 2042, which we wrote about in yesterday's news. There is no shortage of accusations, although many players see a lot of potential in the game, and we're talking about, after all, a test version. Perhaps moving the launch by four weeks would be enough for the creators to eliminate all (or at least the biggest) imperfections.

The release of Battlefield 2042 will take place on November 19. We will be able to play the title on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
