Battle Brothers - Blazing Deserts Expansion Gets Release Date
Overhype Studios announced the release date of Blazing Deserts - the third and biggest expansion for Battle Brothers so far, inspired by Persian and Arabic culture.
Blazing Deserts, the third expansion for Battle Brothers, announced in January, received its release date. The add-on will be released on August 13 2020 on Steam and GOG.com. The DLC will introduce desert areas, Persian and Arabia-inspired equipment (including primitive firearms), as well as new opponents to the game. The devs assure that this will be the biggest and most ambitious Battle Brothers expansion so far.
The DLC will introduce, among others, arena fights, a new crisis in the late stage of the game, new contracts and events, as well as three new origin variants - each with different impact on the game. The full list of changes brought by Blazing Deserts can be found on official website of the game.
Battle Brothers was released on March 24 2017 on PC. Combining turn-based strategy and RPG elements, the independent game from Overhype has previously seen two expansions - Beasts & Exploration and Warriors of the North.
