Batman: Arkham Knight’s Batgirl DLC Just Got a Trailer
There is some time left before Batgirl: A Matter of Family – the first scenario DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight – will be released. However, thanks to the Warner Bros. Company publishing a trailer today, we can at least have a look.
The plot of Batgirl: A Matter of Family is set before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum. As the new DLC’s title suggests, players will be given control of Batgirl, Batman’s companion and Barbara Gordon’s secret identity, the same person that, as The Oracle, provides assistance for Bruce Wayne during the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. Her DLC will presumably reveal to us how exactly did commissioner Gordon’s daughter end up on a wheelchair. According to the trailer the Warner Bros. representatives released, today she will be facing the Joker and his gangmembers (including Harley Quinn, of course).
According to the news published a few days ago, Batgirl: A Matter of Family is set for release this month: the DLC season pass owners will receive it for free on the 14th of July. Other players will have to wait till July 21st and pay $6.99. It should be mentioned that the DLC is developed exclusively for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 – the developers didn’t say a word about potential PC release. The reason for that may be the constant issues pestering Arkham Asylum’s PC port. It is most likely that the developers would like to focus on fixing it before releasing new content.
