Baldur's Gate 3 Contains a Ton of Hidden Content Easy to Overlook, Fans Come to Rescue
How much can you miss in Baldur's Gate 3? According to fans, really quite a lot, and not so much through inattention, but sheer lack of knowledge. Players list the plots and moments they missed on their first attempt, and the list is really quite large.
Baldur's Gate 3 is not as loud as before, the hit from Larian Studios is still on the lips of many players. All thanks to numerous updates, which continue to expand an already huge and mysterious title.
The size of the game and the well-developed world contribute not only to long and engaging gameplay, but unfortunately, it may also cause us to miss certain parts of the plot if we don't look into some nooks and crannies.
What is easy to overlook in Baldur's Gate 3?
Reddit user FizzingSlit asked players what they think is the easiest thing to miss while playing BG3 , with an emphasis on quests, mini-quests or locations carefully hidden by the developers.
Sam gave BAOOOL as an example, one of the hidden, potential enemies, whom we will encounter along with his followers while traversing the Underdark. It's easy to miss him, as the path to his hideout is carefully hidden in a heavily darkened corner of the map.
One of the commentators pointed out the easiest thing to overlook is the scenario in which we don't discover until the very end of Act II that Shadowheart is a follower of Shar. The player notices that if we are not sufficiently interested in the story behind her hand pain, we will not learn about our companion's past for most of the game. However, this variant is very rare, as the protagonist we have to try not to notice numerous clues.
Shadowheart will give up at some point because you're too obtuse and just reveals herself as a follower of Shar, because you're either too stupid to notice or you're not interesting enough to ask. If you never press on the subject of her mysterious scar, you can reach all the way to the Valley of Shadows, and even to the Sphere of Shadows, without learning anything. (…)
Just before entering the Sphere, she will start praying to Shar and you can then finally ask her without a persuasion roll "do you worship Shar?", and she's like "Yes. Honestly, I'm shocked that you missed all the signs.

Other commentators point to the plot of the shadow druids in the first act of the game, which is easy to miss, because although we learn their story by talking to Kagha, few people manage to find her chest containing a note with clues that will allow us to further discover the entire quest. Everything, however, is still before the final confrontation.
Speaking of hidden locations, players note that while playing BG3 , it is worth visiting an island full of dinosaurs inhabiting the jungle of Chult. We will get there by annoying Akabi's genie, who teleports us to an unknown place.
The list of easy-to-miss elements is really long. We will also find a dark book in the necromancer's hideout next to the Abandoned Village, the fact that Gale can absorb the Weave of Shadow from the Thorm family (but only if we take on his character), special items from Tara, as well as the character of Minthara herself, whom we no longer have to kill, and whom we can easily join our team even on the side of good.
As you can see, it pays to be attentive, read notes, have long and detailed conversations with characters, and also look into every nook and cranny. BG3 offers a lot, the only question is whether you have the time and willingness to discover everything?
