Baby Yoda Figure Up Close - Impresses With Quality, Scares With Price
New photos of the prototype of the extremely detailed and equally expensive figure of the character known as Baby Yoda, created by Sideshow Collectibles, have been uploaded to the web.

Baby Yoda became one of the pop-culture phenomena of last year. The popularity of the character from Star Wars: The Mandalorian surprised Disney, which did not prepare in advance toys with this character, which was supposed to cost the company millions of dollars. Only this year did it change. Funko pop figures are already available in sale. The biggest fans, however, sharpen their teeth on what Sideshow Collectibles is preparing. We could see the photos of what they are working on as early as January, but now the first prototype was presented to the audience. Collider was present at the reveal and provided a set of photographs which show well how detailed this toy will be.
The figure will be made in 1:1 scale and will measure 41.9 cm. The level of detail is breathtaking, but the price has a similar effect. The Child (because this is the official name of the figure known as Baby Yoda) will cost 375 dollars. The toy is to be released this autumn. Pre-orders have already started on the official website.
Let us recall that the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian will air in October this year. There are also plans for books and comic books connected with the series.
