Patch 1.6.0 for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is now available for download. The update introduces the highly anticipated roguelike mode called Forgotten Saga.
As announcemed, today Ubisoft, released patch 1.6.0 for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. You can download it now. The patch "weighs in":
- 23.7 GB on PC;
- 17.5 GB on PS4;
- 12.5 GB on PS5;
- 19.6 GB on XOne;
- 26 GB on XSX/S.
Roguelike mode Forgotten Saga
The biggest highlight of update 1.6.0 is undoubtedly the long-awaited roguelike mode called Forgotten Saga, in which the players will take on the role of Odin and travel to the frigid world of Niflheim, consisting of four regions, to take on the ruler of the land of death, Hel.
Sigrblot festival
In addition, along with update 1.6.0 the Sigrblot festival event will return, which you could take part in back in August 2021. The title character will again appear in Ravensthorpe and will offer special prizes. To be able to get them, you need to:
- reach England (i.e., complete the game's rather long prologue);
- Complete one of the first two story threads (in Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire);
- develop the settlement to level two.
The event will begin on August 4 and will last exactly three weeks - until August 25.
Bug fixes
Patch 1.6.0 for AC: Valhalla also does not lack fixes for many more or less significant bugs. You will get acquainted with the details here.
As a reminder, I will add that the last Tombs of the Fallen is expected to be made available in the fall, and at the end of 2022 we can count on the final chapter of Eivor's story. Meanwhile, at the Ubisoft Forward show scheduled for September 10 we will learn about the future of the Assassin's Creed series (according to rumors its next installment will be announced, currently known by the codename Rift).
