Assassin's Creed: Valhalla Hotfix Cleans Up After Patch 1.2.2
Ubisoft continues to fix bugs in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla caused by patch 1.2.2. The latest hotfix is supposed to fix, among other things, frequent game freezes.
Ubisoft released a new patch for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. It's a hotfix to repair bugs introduced by June's patch 1.2.2, including missing interface elements.
The update, released over two weeks ago, was one of the biggest that Ubisoft's game has received so far. It enriched Valhalla with a lot of new elements, including mastery challenges, but at the same time caused some major technical problems.
After installing patch 1.2.2 many players complained about the game freezing and errors required us to load the previous save state to continue. A few days after the release of the update Ubisoft released the first hotfix, but it did not remove all the problems. Therefore, a second patch was needed.
AC: Valhalla was released in November last year on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PS5, as well as on Google Stadia.
The game has been intensively developed after launch. In addition to many updates, the first major expansion in the form of Wrath of the Druids has already hit the market. The next expansion, titled The Siege of Paris, will be released in August. There are many indications that a third, yet unannounced DLC is also planned, which is known under the temporary title Meteor for now.
