Gameplay and Prince of Persia on Second New AC Mirage Trailer; Game Skips Steam
Preorders for Assassin's Creed: Mirage have launched. Ubisoft encourages the purchase of the more expensive Deluxe Edition of the game, which includes items and skins inspired by the Prince of Persia series. They were showcased in a new trailer.
In November last year we informed you about the contents of the collector's edition of Assassin's Creed: Mirage. Some of the attractions it includes will also be given to those who are tempted to buy the Deluxe Edition of Ubisoft's game. These will include:
- 6-element set inspired by the Prince of Persia series - this includes sand skins for the mount and the eagle, sand clothing for Basim, an hourglass of time (talisman), a sword of sands and a dagger of time (...and maybe something else - see below);
- 78-page digital artbook;
- a digital soundtrack (selected tracks).
The whole thing is presented in the trailer below. Importantly, it also includes a bit of gameplay. So if you feel unsatisfied after yesterday's gameplay trailer, you can sate your appetite at least a bit more.
Assassin's Creed: Mirage - price
It is worth adding that the price of the game is already known. The basic version of Assassin's Creed: Mirage costs $49.99 and is available on Ubisoft Store (PC), Epic Games Store (PC), and PS Store (PS4 and PS5). For some reason, MS Store does not offer the option to order the game for now. In addition, the game is not available on Steam. It is possible that the title will come to Valve's platform with a delay, like all relatively new Ubisoft games (also The Settlers: New Allies has yet to appear).
It's also worth mentioning that each pre-order will come with a DLC, offering an an additional task in the game - The Forty Thieves. As for the Deluxe Edition, it costs $59.99
Interestingly, in the description of the Deluxe Edition available on Sony's store, we can read that it includes - in addition to the items already mentioned - a mentor pack and three additional cosmetic packs. It's hard to tell if this is a mistake, or if PlayStation players who choose to purchase this version of Assassin's Creed: Mirage will receive more digital goodies (though it's more likely the former).
As a reminder, let me add that the game is scheduled for release on October 12, 2023. The title will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S. Like all games of the French studio, it will also be available on Ubisoft+ on PC and Xbox.
