Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered Patch Repairs Teeth
Ubisoft has prepared the 1.03 update for Assassin's Creed III Remastered. The patch improves the lighting system in animated scenes for a more realistic look.
The refreshed version of Assassin's Creed III - AC III Remastered - has been released with several technical issues. One of the most common problems appearing in gamers' comments was the lighting system, which resulted in a strange appearance of characters in animated scenes. The recently released patch 1.03 fixes the bug, in some cases bringing the graphics closer to what we know from the original title.
The lighting in cutscenes has been changed to improve the appearance of the characters' faces, skin and hair," reads a note in the Ubisoft forum.
Developers don't say a word about teeth, but the patch also improves this element of the characters' appearance. Here's how some scenes look like before and after installation (the comparison was published by user Alterminal).
The update was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PCs. It's worth noting that users on the latter platform can count on several additional improvements, such as improved support for ultra-wide resolution, fixed black screen problems when switching to fullscreen mode, and trouble mapping buttons when using the Xbox One pad via Bluetooth.
Assassin's Creed III Remastered debuted on the aforementioned platforms on March 29, 2019. We would also like to remind you that tomorrow the premiere of the dedicated Nintendo Switch console edition will take place.
