Arnold Schwarzenegger as Playable Character in Predator Hunting Grounds
Arnold Schwarzenegger himself will soon join the online action game Predator: Hunting Grounds. We'll be able to play as Dutch from the classic movie and listen to an audio tape with the actor's narration.
- On May 26, an update with audio tapes containing Schwarzenegger's narration will be released;
- On the same day a paid DLC will launch, which will enable us to play as his character - Dutch;
- The expansion will also offer earlier access to new weapons.
Illfonic Games has announced that Predator: Hunting Grounds will soon see Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. The actor will play Dutch, the iconic character he played in the 1987 film Predator. He will lend the protagonist both voice and appearance. However, he will be clearly older than in the movie hit.
Schwarzenegger will be introduced on May 26, this year. An update and paid DLC will be released on that day. The patch will enrich the game with audio tapes, which will help us learn about Dutch's fate after the events from the film. Players who want to play as the hero will have to buy an add-on. This expansion will also offer the QR5 Hammerhead rifle and a new knife. Both weapons will then be made available for free to the rest of the players in June this year.
The introduction of Arnold Schwarzenegger to the game is no surprise. In March, there were reports that the actor recorded his voice for a video game. The title wasn't given the time, but the money of most of the fans was on Predator: Hunting Grounds.
It is worth noting that this is the actor's first performance in a video game since Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines released in 2003. Admittedly, we could see his lookalike in last year's Terminator T-800 add-on for Mortal Kombat 11, but Arnold did not provide voice for this character.
Let's recall that Predator: Hunting Grounds was released on April 24, this year. The game is available on PC and PlayStation 4.
