In Armored Core 6 you will encounter a wide variety of opponents. In act three one of them will be Swinburne. While he may seem like an easy opponent, there are choices associated with the character that will make gameplay much more difficult. In this guide you will learn what this decision is about.
Fighting Swinburne in AC6
Swinburne is a relatively undemanding opponent. Therefore, defeating him should not pose any major problems. He possesses two main attacks.:
- While in the air, he will fire rockets at you.
- Up close, he will attack you with melee weapons.
As you can see, the tactics are quite simple. You must keep your distance and constantly stay on the move to avoid the missiles.
Should you spare Swinburne in Armored Core 6?
The moment Swinburne's health bar drops to half, you will have to make a decision. This is because the boss will ask you to stop attacking him. The situation can then proceed as follows:
- Refuse - If you refuse, you will continue to fight Swinburne;
- Accept - In case you have decided to spare him, then you will face a clash with Rokumonsen. This is a decidedly more difficult opponent. This is because he moves very fast and regularly attacks with rockets. However, what is by far the worst, he has the ability to heal himself.
So if you have decided to take on Rokumonsen, you are in for a much bigger challenge. However, it is due not only to the nature of the opponent, but also to the fact that you can not replenish your supplies before starting the second clash. So if you have used up everything on Swinburne, you will not be able to repair yourself at this stage, and you may also run out of ammunition.
You must also remember that there is no save point before the Rokumonsen battle. So if you are defeated, you will have to repeat the entire sequence including the fight with Swinburne.
