Arcane Season 2 Got Approximate Release Date
Arcane's season 1 proved that it is possible to create a successful adaptation of a video game. So it's no wonder that the wait for the next episodes is unbearable for some. Unfortunately, we will have to be patient.
Debuting two years ago, Arcane achieved huge success. Created by Fortiche Production, the show set in the League of Legends universe was met with great acclaim, resulting in the winning of several prestigious awards. Unfortunately, since then we were still waiting for any news regarding the release of the second season.
It looks like you will have to be patient. Indeed, at this year's Tencent Video V Vision Conference, it was confirmed that Arcane will return with new episodes only in the winter of 2024 (vide Screen Rant).
Thus, this is a confirmation of recent information, according to which Arcane was not to receive a second season until the next twelve months. One can only hope that the prolonged work on new episodes means that the new season will be at least as good as the first one from 2021.
Less than a few months ago, the CEO of Riot Games, Nicolo Laurent, admittedthat the company was not prepared for such a huge success of the show. Otherwise, work on the second season of Arcane would have started much sooner.
