Anno 1800 Launches
The launch of Anno 1800, one of the most promising strategy games of the year, is finally here. Currently, the game is available only on PC and is gathering very good reviews.
The day awaited by many fans of economic strategies has finally come. Anno 1800, the next installment of the popular Ubisoft series, debuted on the market. Currently, the production is available only on PC.
Due to the exclusivenes deal signed with Epic, the game cannot be bought on Steam. This option was only available in pre-orders. Now you can only choose between Uplay and Epic Games Store. The latter variant is less attractive because each session with Anno 1800 requires us to run the Uplay client either way.
The standard digital edition costs about $59.99, while the Pioneers edition is already sold out.
After the disappointing Anno 2205 many fans of the series were anxiously waiting for the next installment. The first reviews suggest, however, that Anno 1800 did not repeat the mistakes of its predecessor. The game has an average rating of 80% on Metacritic.
Anno 1800 is praised for its refined gameplay mechanics, extensive economic model and beautiful graphics. Criticism focuses mainly on performance issues and poor single player campaign storyline.
