Android 11 has Higher Hardware Requirements Than Windows 10
It seems that the full version of Android 11 has greater requirements than Microsoft's latets Windows OS. Google OS will be installed only on phones equipped with more than 2 GB of memory. Weaker smartphones will have to use the shafted version called Android GO.
Thanks to the recently launched beta-tests of the Android 11 mobile operating system - more specifically the Device Configuration Guide provided by Google - we have learned the hardware requirements of this software (via XDA Developers). It turns out that in order to work smoothly and offer a full set of functions, the system needs a phone with more than 2 GB of RAM.
Models with 2 GB or less of RAM will be recognized as an Android Go device - we will only be able to run on them a special, "light" version of the system, characterized by reduced functionality. It is worth noting that in the case of devices with 512 MB or less operating memory we will not install Android 11 at all.
Interestingly, a full-fledged version of Android 11 requires more RAM from Windows 10 (this can be installed on hardware with at least 1 GB of memory).
