Short Gameplay From Amnesia: The Bunker Shows Weapons in Action

Frictional Games has released new video footage from the horror game Amnesia: The Bunker, which shows the use of firearms.

Frictional Games has released a new video from the project Amnesia: The Bunker, the next installment in the popular horror game series.

The footage is short - it lasts less than 30 seconds, but it is worth watching, as it shows using firearms. The game is supposed to be more "sandbox-like" than previous installments, offering the player a large choice of methods for completing tasks. This can be seen well in the video, where, in order to open a locked door, the character shoots a padlock with a revolver. Of course, it should also be possible to find the key.

Recall that Amnesia: The Bunker is headed for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The release will take place in March next year.

The game will be set in a World War I-era bunker. Unlike previous installments, which offered a series of mostly linear maps, the action of Amnesia: The Bunker will take place in a single location with a partially open structure. Instead of being based on scripted actions, the gameplay will be quasi-sandboxed, shaped by the decisions of the players themselves and the enemy AI reacting to them.

On top of that, many of the game's elements will be determined randomly, offering us fresh challenges with each approach. All of this sounds ambitious and will be a big departure from what Frictional Games titles have offered so far, so we're eagerly anticipating the release.
