American McGee Shared the Script for Alice: Asylum

American McGee is still working on Alice: Asylum, the third installment of his take on Alice in Wonderland. The creator has already shared the initial script of the game.

It's been 10 years since Alice's last visit to Wonderland according to American McGee, and the long-awaited sequel is still not here. However, the creator of the series is still working on it, as evidenced by the newly released script of Alice: Asylum. The document in PDF format consists of 147 pages, including the script and "narrative outline", although there are also mentions of levels and bosses. The whole thing has been made available on McGee's Americana Patreon - we can download the file for free.

McGee stressed that this is still a draft: many elements (including dialogues) need to be polished and the document does not reveal everything that we'll see in the game. Or rather, we would want to see - the creator does not hide that the release of Alice: Asylum is still far away. McGee intends to first prepare a "project plan", which will have to be accepted by Electronic Arts (the owner of the IP rights) and only then start collecting money for the actual development of the game. We can only hope that we won't have to wait until the 20th anniversary of Alice: Madness Returns' release.
