No More GTA and Red Dead Extras for Amazon Prime Gaming Subscribers
With the end of March, GTA Online players and Prime Gaming subscribers will lose the chance to enjoy all sorts of Amazon subscription benefits. Red Dead Online fans will soon join them.
Every month, starting in 2019, players who linked their Rockstar Social Club account to Amazon Prime Gaming received cash, cosmetic accessories and even real estate in GTA Online and Red Dead Online. This is, of course, part of Amazon's multi-game bonus program.
Unfortunately, the opportunity for benefits for Rockstar Games title fans is coming to an end. GTA players lost access to bonuses from Prime Gaming yesterday, while rewards for players of the latter will end on April 3..
This information appeared on the Rockstar Games support page under the FAQ section. This is how its content is presented:
Question: I have a Prime-subscribed Amazon account that’s linked to my Rockstar Games Social Club account, so why am I not receiving Prime Gaming benefits for Grand Theft Auto Online or Red Dead Online?
Answer: Prime Gaming benefits are no longer supported as of March 31, 2023, for Grand Theft Auto Online and April 3, 2023, for Red Dead Online.
Bonuses to wipe away tears
As a consolation, Grand Theft Auto players, who logged into the game's servers on March 30-31, will receive a $125,000 reward in the game. On the other hand, Red Dead players participating in the game until April 4 will gain 5 gold bars, a "Scream" emote, a hat in any color and a hooded tunic.
