Alone in the Dark (2024) – How to Unlock Shotgun (Lost Children) Walkthrough
Getting a shotgun is quite straightforward. You have to collect all Lagniappes from Lost Children set. They are hidden in Derceto, but you will not be able to unlock them at the beginning.

How to get Rubber Stamp in Alone in the Dark
You can find Rubber Stamp in the Reception. It is next to the receptionist window and a bell to ring. The room is the vicinity of the main door to Derceto.
How to get Fountain Pen in Alone in the Dark
Fountain Pen is in the Batiste’s Room. You will get access to this location after getting the Talisman. The item is on the table, next to the fan.
How to get Dog Collar in Alone in the Dark
To get Dog Collar, you will have to come back from The Hateful Mound. It is the second location with enemies. Once you complete the level, you will be back in Derceto with a bag. Seach it, and you will find a Palette Knife. This tool is essential to unlock many doors because it can remove wedges. Now, you can enter Drawing Room. The last collectible from the set is in on the table below the window.
Alone in the Dark – Shotgun trap
After collecting all Lagniappes from the Lost Children collection, the cabinet in the Small Parlour opens. Now you are able to get the shotgun. However, it is a trap. After you collect the weapon, and decide to leave through the Library door, it will be locked. Once you try to open it, a fight starts, and you are attacked by two “zombies”.
You can bypass the problem by going through Conservatory and later enter the main building thanks to the ladder. However, each time you will enter the Library, and go further into the Small Parlour, the door will be locked again. So, it is probably better to just go through encounter. It will be also a chance to get some shells and a melee weapon.
