Liar’s Bar is a multiplayer game that mixes bluffing, guns, and cards – but it’s not just about poker like Balatro. Players can pick between two game modes, wagering cards or dice. If a lie is suspected, a bluff can be called, leading to a quick round of Russian Roulette. With nearly 40,000 peak players on Steam, the game has turned into a sensation, sparking the question: will it ever come to consoles? Let’s explore and find out.

Liar’s Bar – Console (PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch) Release Explained

Liar’s Bar made its debut on October 2nd in Early Access, exclusively available on Steam. While it has captured the attention of many players, console enthusiasts may face a significant wait. There’s been no official announcement or roadmap regarding a potential PlayStation, Xbox or Switch release. The Liar’s Bar team has only confirmed that the game will remain in Early Access for six months.

The game's currently lacking controller support, and without this essential feature it seems unlikely that a console release will be coming anytime soon. Well, at least it’s verified as “Playable” on Steam Deck.

The developers are probably focused on perfecting the PC version right now and preparing for the game's full release before shifting their attention to other platforms. Rest assured, as the player base grows, the chances of console releases increase. However, even with a successful PC launch, porting a game to consoles can be a time-consuming process.
