Path of Exile is a game of many mechanics. Sometimes the number of them can be intimidating, especially along new updates, when fresh content is added an guides can be outdated quite easily. Because of that, many new players can feel lost in this complicated world. We are here to help though. At least a little bit. In this article we will tell you where to find Ascendancy trials to unlock consecutive levels of the labyrinth and allow you to progress your Ascendancy class.

Lab trials in PoE explained

Ascendancy trials are gates to different levels of the labyrinth, which is a way to progress your Ascendancy class. Lab trials test your ability to solve various trap puzzles and they are hidden in different areas. The maps are procedurally generated, so we can’t give you the exact location, but follow the book icon on the minimap. It will give you proper direction.

To access the unlocked labyrinth you have to visit Sarn and enter Aspirants’ Plaza portal. Interact with the pillar in front of the door and pick the level you wish to enter.
