Ginger Cat From Nostromo Joins Aliens: Dark Descent in DLC
The ginger companion of the Nostromo crew has now become part of Aliens: Dark Descent. Players who have already bought the game received it for free, but this may soon change.
Fans of Alien who have recently purchased Aliens: Dark Descent, received the Lethe Recon Pack DLC for free. This is likely to change soon, however, as the DLC has appeared in store offers as a separate paid item. Let's point out that the said DLC adds a new set of armor and a feline companion. However, this is not just any cat, but the famous Jonesy (next to Ripley, the second surviving passenger of the Nostromo) - appearing in Ridley Scott's original 1979 movie.
Jonesy in paid DLC
Jonesy is a ginger cat who has become one of the symbols of the franchise. He has appeared in several films from the Alien universe, and has now joined players in Aliens: Dark Descent. Tindalos Interactive has also included the cat in the Lethe Recon Pack DLC, which also adds the Black Camo Armor Set.

It is worth noting that the Lethe Recon Pack DLC is available separately on Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as Microsoft Store and PlayStation Store.
Aliens: Dark Descent launched on June 19. The title is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Gamers want ginger Jonesy in their ranks
The vast majority of DLC commenters on Steam have spoken positively about the content, especially praising Jonesy. User Nobody praised the new armors and pointed out that it's always good to have a cat on the team. DepressionIncarnate, on the other hand, notes that he must first and foremost take care of the safety of his ginger companion, other casualties are "inevitable". Meanwhile, Sloaks, which got the DLC for free, posted a graphic of Jonesy.
As of this moment, i.e. June 21, the game has collected nearly 600 reviews on Steam , of which up to 90% are positive. Since launch day, up to 7374 players have played the game simultaneously (via SteamDB).
