Alan Wake Remastered Trailer Compared to Original
The latest trailer for Alan Wake Remastered shows a visual comparison with the original. The clip enable us to see what changes await us on current-gen consoles compared to the Xbox 360 version.
Since Alan Wake Remastered release is just over a week away, Remedy Entertainment (the game's devs) showed off the changes in the visuals of the remaster in a new trailer. The trailer compares the refreshed version, running on Xbox Series X, with the original from Xbox 360 - for which Alan Wake was a temporary exclusive (before it was released on PC two years later).
The video announces support for 4K resolution (on Xbox 360 was natively 960x540 pixels) and improved cutscenes. Textures and lighting have also been changed, as well as character models, which in some cases - such as Odin Anderson and Alice - have undergone a significant overhaul.
Alan Wake Remastered will be released on October 5 on PC (where it will be a temporary exclusive for Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Xbox One, and PS4. It's time to wake up, Mr. Wake.
