The newly founded Elsewhere Entertainment studio has just announced its first AAA game. It's supposed to be a new brand, and the title will be oriented towards narration and plot.

The people responsible for it are true veterans of the industry, who previously worked on such series as The Witcher, The Last of Us, Uncharted, and Destiny. The studio is located in Warsaw and falls under Activision Blizzard, giving it access to the support and resources of this American giant.

Built from the ground up, Elsewhere Entertainment is a premier and standalone studio dedicated to establishing an environment that inspires bold and diverse ideas.

The studio has been in operation for a while, but it's only now that the decision has been made to share this information with the public. At the moment, there is a recruitment process for programmers, and we have very little information about the game itself. The only expressed desire was to "craft a franchise with an enduring legacy that resonates far beyond games." Very grand words, which for us players, unfortunately, have practically zero value.

Information about the opening of a new studio may be surprising to some in the context of recent shutdowns made by Microsoft. It's important to remember that Activision operates independently and controls its own budget.

It's unclear when the new title will be released, but it's safe to assume that it will be at least a few years before that happens. However, I think that considering the current rather weak state of the gaming industry, the opening of a new studio is a refreshing change.
