Another major update is coming to Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Ubisoft announced the launch of patch 1.3.1 on September 7 at 5:00 AM PT. The patch will require 14.32GB of disk space on PlayStation 5, 26.23GB on XOne, 26.49GB on PC, 30GB on PS4, and 34.05GB on Xbox Series X/S.

The update will add new content in the form of three skills and a raid expansion with more rivers and rewards. There will also be a new nightmarish combat difficulty level (Aesir). After selecting it the player's character will receive twice as much damage and parrying blows will become much more difficult. What's more, the devs decided to modify the healing mechanics, the effectiveness of which will now depend on the difficulty level.

In addition to these and other news, the update delivers a long list of fixes, both in the base AC: Valhalla as well as both expansions. This includes fixes for bugs that prevent quests from being completed, NPCs or bosses getting stuck on obstacles (or... horses), and various technical improvements. The full list of changes in patch 1.3.1 is available here.
