Today Assassin's Creed: Valhalla received update 1.1.0. In addition to fixing existing bugs, it creates a foundation for settlement expansion and the Yule Festival event. The patch launched simultaneously on all hardware platforms, and its size is as follows:

  • Xbox Series X|S: 6.3 GB
  • Xbox One: 5.7 GB
  • PlayStation 5: 2.46 GB
  • PlayStation 4: 2.4 GB
  • PC: 5.6 GB

The most important elements introduced by the update include undoubtedly the foundation for settlement expansion and the Yule Festival. Currently, no details related to these aspects of the game have been disclosed (thay are to be described later on). However, it is known that the event is to be limited in time and will offer limited prizes.

Additionally, the patch eliminates a number of bugs that may have occurred in the game. Among other things, problems with NPCs have been fixed. Issues related to their animations and behavior have been eliminated. After the update, they will stop harvesting air instead of grain.

Animals have also been fixed. Fish will stop swimming on their side and horses will run away after hitting them with a torch. A rather specific mistake that caused the Saxon boat to disappear during boarding if it hit a horse earlier has been eliminated.

In addition, a number of other issues related to story tasks, combat or Eivor's abilities have been corrected.
