AC Valhalla's Upcoming DLC May Feature a Character From AC Odyssey
New information about unannounced DLC for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla appeared in the web. In one of them we may meet the protagonist of AC: Odyssey.
There are only eight days left until the release of the Siege of Paris DLC for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Since the E3 2021 fair, however, we have known that this will not be the last expansion for the twelfth full-fledged installment of the series. Not much is known about the next one (or ones to follow, who knows) - it's said to explore the Norse land of fire, Muspelheim, and the story may be somehow connected to the journey of the god Odin through the nine worlds. A YouTube user named j0nathan, known for his numerous leaks about the Assassin's Creed series, however, has come up with more information - according to j0nathan, in the upcoming DLC Eivor will encounter Kassandra, the canonical main character of AC: Odyssey. This topic is taken up by the material below (in French).
SPOILERS
The following text contains game spoilers from Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Feel warned if you haven't finished them yet.
According to j0nathan - who found both characters' dialogue in the game's files - Eivor will learn that Randvi (a romance interest in the base game) has been seen on the nightmare plagued Isle of Skye. The protagonist has to follow her trail, but on the spot Eivor discovers that the woman was mistaken for someone else - the protagonist of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey who has a very similar hairstyle to Randvi. We know that Kassandra was in possession of the Scepter of Hermes for a long time, so her guest appearance would not be inconsistent with the lore. The characters are supposed to meet while searching for the keys (presumably to the aforementioned Muspelheim) and a certain powerful artifact (implied to be one of the fragments of Eden). The dialogue is meant to imply that Eivor will approach the woman with distrust.
j0nathan either didn't want to reveal anything more, or simply found nothing else. It's also worth bearing in mind that the mere presence of such dialogue in the game files doesn't necessarily mean that we'll hear it in the game. That's why, despite the credibility of the youtuber, we advise to approach this leak with caution.
