AC: Valhalla Has an Ace Up Its Sleeve - Devs of Black Flag
We found out that as many as fifteen teams are working on Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Key roles in the production are to be played by people responsible for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed: Origins.
Yesterday, Ubisoft announced Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Now we've got a lot of solid facts about who's working on the project and it is a piece of information that should please the fans of the series.
The huge scale of the project is best reflected in the fact that as many as fifteen studios are working on it. We learned about this thanks to the fact that the main team dealing with Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, or Ubisoft Montreal, thanked fourteen other teams from all over the world who help with the development.
Even more interesting is the question of specific people involved in this project. Fans have analyzed the comments of various people from Ubisoft. The conclusions drawn from this have not yet been officially confirmed, but they are most likely accurate. According to them, the creative director is Ashraf Ismail, who played this role in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Origins. The script, as with AC: Origins, was written by Alain Mercieca.
The most interesting thing is that Darby McDevitt, who was previously responsible for the plot of Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, is the narrative director. These productions are considered to offer some of the best stories in the series, so many fans have high hopes of McDevitt's return.
Generally, if these reports are true, the project is in the hands of almost a dream team, so we can expect something really good.
Finally, Ubisoft Montreal will release the first trailer of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla at 8 AM PDT today. We hope that it will reveal the game's release date.
