Abandoned Trailer in August? App Gets New Release Date
Blue Box Game has provided a new release date for the dedicated game app for Abandoned. If it will not be changed once again, maybe in August we will finally see the game's trailer.
The dedicated app for Abandoned, a project of the mysterious Blue Box Game studio, received a new release date. It is set to become available for free preoad for all PlayStation 5 users on July 29. On August 10, it is expected to feature something like an introduction, and in the following weeks of next month - a trailer of the game. Then, unless the developers change their plans again, we'll probably finally find out whether Abandoned is actually a new Silent Hill game being developed by Hideo Kojima.
Rumors on this subject have been circulating online for quite some time. Both the above teaser and information available about the deva at Blue Box Game, which are supposed to be led by one Hasan Kahraman, arouse controversy because contain many clues indicating that Abandoned is something more than a project of a small, independent team. And while the aforementioned studio head decided to go public (see video below) and deny that he and his company had anything to do with Hideo Kojima and Silent Hill the community remains unconvinced.
What's more, the cat-and-mouse game is getting boring for many people. Under the developer post on Twitter regarding the August release of a dedicated Abandoned app there were a lot of comments saying that "nobody cares anymore". And while the latter is rather hard to believe, as much of the response suggests continued interest and anticipation from players, Blue Box Game will probably do better if it doesn't delay the presentation of the game's trailer again.
Abandoned was to be released only on PS5, but a month ago the creators sort of confirmed that the title will also come to PC.
