First 10 Minutes of Plague Tale: Requiem in 8K on RTX 4090
We are just hours away from the long-awaited release of A Plague Tale: Requiem. In connection with this, footage showing the title running in 8K on an RTX 4090 has hit the web (prematurely). The video is impressive.
Were you wondering about the capabilities of the new GeForce RTX 4090? If so, then John Papadopoulos, YouTube user and editor of DSOG comes to your aid, sharing on his channel footage showing A Plague Tale: Requiem precisely on this Nvidia device. Below you can see the first 10 minutes of the upcoming game. And you best hurry, because the video will be quickly removed if it turns out that the author published it prematurely, violating the embargo rules imposed by the game's publisher Focus Entertainment.
You may agree with me that the visuals generated by the new RTX (with DLSS support) look phenomenal in 8K. Unfortunately, this has taken a toll on the performance - it is 30 frames per second.
Recall that a dozen days ago we learned the system requirements of the PC version of A Plague Tale: Requiem, which - let's not hide it - are quite high. Undoubtedly, many PCs will have a hard time with the latest work of Asobo Studio.
A Plague Tale: Requiem will debut on October 18 on PC, as well as on PS5, XSX/S and Switch (via streaming). On the day of release, the game will also be available on the PC/Xbox Game Pass service.
