A Plague Tale: Requiem Announced; Trailer and Release Date

The warmly received A Plague Tale: Innocence will get a sequel. A Plague Tale: Requiem, as this is the name of the game, will launch next year. This year's E3 fair brought the climatic trailer of this title.

Focus Home Interactive and the team at Asobo Studio announced A Plague Tale Requiem, a sequel to the warmly received A Plague Tale: Innocence - an action-adventure game set in the Middle Ages, telling the story of siblings fighting for survival in a country overrun by war and plague. The game has received a trailer, which does not lack the elements that determined the success of its predecessor - a heavy atmosphere, a sea of rats, and the omnipresent traces of war. Apart from that, we found out that the game will launch on PC and Xbox Series X/S in 2022; from release day, the game will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass..

The action of A Plague Tale: Requiem is set after the events of the original. As you can see in the video above, Amicia and Hugo will once again have to fight for their lives, facing a world that is completely indifferent to their fate.
