Remember to make sure you're properly hydrated before taking on a similar challenge... although even that won't guarantee you a trouble-free experience.

Who said that playing games won't bring you any accomplishments? More than once, game fans have heard a similar line from older people, who see games only as a waste of time and nourishment for laziness. Meanwhile, over the years, games have proven that, for some, they can be valuable research material or a recipe for success.

A player who spent 59 hours in the world of World of Warcraft without a break has made it into the Guinness World Record holders.

Be the best version of yourself

Barnabas Vujity-Zsolnay is a chef from Budapest who, on February 6, broke the world record in the longest MMORPG marathon. The Hungarian spent 59 hours and 20 minutes exploring the world of WoW, fighting monsters and other players - the curious could watch his struggles via a charity stream.

This isn't the first record broken by Barnabas. The WoW fan had appeared in the book four years earlier, spending 35 hours and 49 minutes in the game. The Hungarian improved his result by almost a day.

Not without problems

During the challenge, the player had to follow several rules. For every hour played nonstop, the record holder was entitled to one five-minute break, during which he could eat something, take a nap, or use the toilet. During the entire process, the Hungarian also avoided caffeine - instead, he drank fifteen liters of water, which, however, didn't save him from the inevitable.

As time went on, things only got worse for Barnabas. As he confirmed in an interview with Guinness World Records, after thirty hours, the player had exhausted the possibilities offered by WoW. Later, the hallucinations entered the game.

[After 45 hours] I noticed mild hallucinations starting to form. It was funny but also hard to concentrate while live streaming.

Ultimately, Barnabas doesn't advise anyone to go through a similar experience, but he himself has no regrets. The last session also gave him the record for the longest WoW marathon, which he has loved since his teenage years - and he has no intention of giving up his title to anyone.

I love the game and I will retake the record if it's beaten. This is mine for life - I want everyone to know that.
