Already 32 million players have checked out Palworld in early access and on Xbox Game Pass.

Survival, which stormed Steam over a year ago, was one of the most unexpected hits of 2024. Even now, when the number of players in the game doesn't approach the absurd 2 million, the creation of Pocketpair Studio remains one of the most popular titles on the Valve platform. At the time of publishing this text, Palworld ranks 23rd.

Now, the Japanese developer has announced on X that over the first year, the game was tested by over 32 million players on PC, PS5, and XSX/S. Of course, the creators thanked the fans for their extensive support of their biggest hit so far, and they certainly don't intend to rest on their laurels.

Furthermore, the Pocketpair studio has released a new update for Palworld. Version 0.4.15 includes a significant change in the Random Pal mode: from now on, you can choose an option where only the genres of creatures will be random, not - as before - their levels as well. This means there will no longer be a chance of facing opponents at the highest level in the starting area. People looking for a challenge can play without this change (via X).

Furthermore, errors that caused the game to forcibly close on Xbox and Steam Deck have been fixed, along with many minor improvements like reducing the size of saved game state files.
