These include the tensions between Iran and the US (as well as the US and China), the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic that literally brought humanity to its knees, the fires in Australia, being on everyone's lips in February or the death of George Floyd. There was also mention of a recent rocket launch with the Perseverance rover aboard, which targets Mars.
