The newest MMORPG from Tencent, Tarisland, attracted many people. The game was released just a few hours ago, but numerous players are already max level, as it does not take long to reach 20. Some gamers even claim that they have accomplished this in around 30 minutes (but obviously most people will take some more time). However, 20 is not the final level. To be precise, you will be able to upgrade you character 20 times more.

Level Cap in Tarisland Explained

So, for now, the final level is 40, but you can reach only level 20 on the first day. Why to cap the game? Developers probably wanted to give all players, even those who do not have so much time for playing, equal chances. As a consequence, they have capped progress for the first few days after the release. What are the tiers then?

  1. Day 1 – level 20,
  2. Day 2 – Level 26,
  3. Day 3 – Level 30,
  4. Day 4 – Level 34,
  5. Day 5 – level 38,
  6. Day 6 – Level 40.

So, if you want to reach max level, you will have to wait a little bit. The good (or bad) thing is that it seems that you will not have to work for a long time to reach level cap. It seems that developers want to focus on the endgame rather than on grind. Of course, some people will be delighted while others will feel that something is lacking or will be bored soon. It depends on what kind of player you are. Remember that it is likely that creators will add more levels in the future.
