11 bit studios showed off a teaser of their new project. Unfortunately, for now we only know what it is not.

Polish studio 11 bit has published a teaser of its new project. The video posted on Twitter doesn't show much beyond falling snow - it only displays the message: "Some promises stay with you forever". You can watch the video below.

It's not Frostpunk 2

Usually in the case of such teasers we can only rely on speculation when it comes to their interpretation. However, 11 bit studios has spared those for at least one audience.

  1. Developer has stated bluntly that this entry is not about a sequel to Frostpunk, despite the snow in the video (and a recent leak regarding the release date of Frostpunk 2).
  2. It was only added that this mysterious project will be "equally significant and aesthetically pleasing" as the aforementioned second part of the strategy game series.

One of ten - but which one?

We have known for months that 11 bit studios is planning to release 10 games based on Unreal Engine technology, including the mysterious Project 8. However, so far we haven't heard anything solid about any of them, although reports about "Number 8" appeared back in 2018.

Let's hope that the developer will soon reveal some of the secrets.
