Zombieland: Double Tap - Road Trip Description
Zombieland: Double Tap - Road Trip is a shooter based on a movie license, developed by High Voltage Software, a team known for the successful Hunter: The Reckoning series.
Plot
Despite the title, the game is not based on the plot of Zombieland 2: Double Tap. Instead, Road Trip action takes place between the events of the first and second part of the movie series.
The game tells the story of the adventures of a group of characters known from the movie, who travel through the post-apocalyptic United States, devastated by a zombie outbreak.
Mechanics
Zombieland: Double Tap - Road Trip is a shooter, in which we observe the events from bird's eye view. The game looks modern, but in terms of gameplay it refers to classic representatives of this type. The gameplay depends mainly on battling hordes of monsters and collecting increasingly better weapons.
We can choose one of the four characters known from the film. Each of them has unique features and equipment. During the game we can develop the hero and change their equipment. We have to get through eighteen different levels.
Game modes.
The game enables us to play solo or in a co-op mode for up to four people. In the first case, the remaining team members are controlled by the AI. The AI also complements the group in multiplayer games if necessary.
Technical aspects
Zombieland: Double Tap offers simple, yet eye-catching three-dimensional visuals, adopting a slightly cartoonish style.
