A shoot em’up with real time strategy elements in which the player assumes control of a port side cannon of an AC-130 gunship with an objective to destroy hordes of zombies infesting the surface of the Earth. The game, developed by Flaregames, offers a number of scenarios that see us support land units, including an airfield which serves as a base of operations between missions.
Zombie Gunship Survival for AND and iOS is a mobile shoot em’up with micromanagement features developed by Flaregames. The game was released for both major mobile platforms and is distributed in a free-to-play system with additional microtransactions.
The action of Zombie Gunship Survival takes place in a post-apocalyptic universe in which the whole world has been overrun by the titular zombies. The player mans the port side cannon of an AC-130 gunship with a goal to support his comrades on the ground.
The action of Zombie Gunship Survival for AND and iOS is seen from a top-down view. The game offers a number of scenarios where the player defends land units (e.g. paratroopers deployed from our gunship) or the airfield that serves as a base of operations between the missions (the airfield enables the player to repair his ship and buy the necessary upgrades for both his gunship and the land units)
As the game progresses, we receive access to various types of weaponry used by both the gunship and the soldiers on the ground. The list of weapons includes 5,56 and 7,62 mm heavy machine guns, rocket launchers, sniper rifles, automatic rifles, or even shotguns.
Zombie Gunship Survival is characteristic for its decent visuals. It should be mentioned that the gunship and the whole arsenal were faithfully recreated based on their real life counterparts.
