Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist is one of many games based on Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, which started in 1996 with Kazuki Takahashi’s manga. The title for PC, PS4 and XONE has been made by Other Ocean Interactive studio, which worked on a version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for Xbox 360, Stacking in collaboration with Double Fine Productions and Spider-Man: Edge of Time for Nintendo 3DS handheld.

Plot

The story of Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist for PC, PS4 and XONE isn’t the most breathtaking, focusing on recreating major duels of Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, namely of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s, Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL and Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V. This gives altogether over 200 duels without DLC, including Yugi Muto vs. Joey Wheeler, Yami Yugi vs. Yami Bakura and Seto Kaiba vs. Yami Yugi.

Game mechanics

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist is a card, in which we are taken to Duel Simulator – a program where the best duelists face each other. We will meet characters from previous titles with their old decks, but there is also a new cast of heroes, for example from ARC-V series, giving more than 90 players and around 6600 cards. Those include the new Pendulum Monster, and we can get new cards from booster packs, which were available from the very start. There are single player and multiplayer options, the latter in form of e.g. completely new Draft mode.
