Another game which is the result of cooperation between Activision and Marvel Entertainment. The heroes of X-Men: Destiny are young mutant recruits who are just discovering their destiny.

A rally in San Francisco may be mutant-kind’s last hope for peace with humanity. Three young mutants are about to discover that they have the power to change the world, and their destinies are in your hands.

In the action-RPG X-Men Destiny, players control the fate of a new mutant in the X-Men universe. Every choice has a consequence, as your destiny is determined through the decisions you make as you advance through the game. Play as one of three new characters in X-Men lore, each one of whom must come to terms with his or her unique background and powerful mutant identity while uncovering the truth behind an epic event that threatens to tear apart the tenuous peace between humanity and mutant-kind.

Evolve and customize your core mutant powers with an opportunity to earn and equip “X-Genes” to expand and alter your power base. Choose which paths to take in key moments that impact your story and how other characters respond to you. Fight alongside and against famous mutants from the X-Men comics, including Wolverine, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Emma Frost and more.

Will you choose to follow the teachings of the X-Men to unite mutants and humans, or will you usher in a new age of mutant domination with Magneto’s Brotherhood? YOU decide.

- Discover Your Mutant Identity: Choose among three all-new mutant characters, each with a unique background that is unraveled throughout the game.

- Shape Your Destiny: Players are cast as brand-new characters in an alternate X-Men universe where Charles Xavier is dead and fear abounds. Players must make choices that ultimately shape the destinies of not only the characters of the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants but also the fate of mutant-kind itself.

- Friend or Foe: Fight alongside and against some of Marvel’s greatest X-Men characters, including Magneto, Cyclops, Wolverine and Gambit. Your choices will determine where your allegiances lie and which side of the mutant cause will reign supreme.

- Customize and Enhance Powers: X-Men Destiny is the first game in the X-Men universe that allows players to create and customize their own unique power sets through the selection of a core power, level upgrades, ability trees, and the brand new X-Gene system. X-Genes allow players to augment their abilities with the powers of various mutants from the X-Men universe. Players can pick and choose powers that fit their unique play-style to create a personal experience.
