WWE 2K24

WWE 2K24 is a wrestling sports game and a new installment in a series originating from 2000. It was developed by Visual Concepts, also known for the NBA 2K series.

Mechanics

WWE 2K24 is officially licensed by the WWE, thus featuring an all-star cast. We'll get to play as modern wrestling stars like Cody „The American Nightmare” Rhodes, John Cena, Rhea Ripley and Roman Reigns; as well as old-school stars like Steve „Stone Cold” Austin, the Undertaker and Andre the Giant.

The game's key mechanic is combat in the ring. To succeed, we must be agile and get familiar with the combat system, consisting of various attacks, grabs, throws and special moves.

There are also alternate rulesets to make battles more interesting. Aside from returning WarGames, Extreme Rules, TLC, Submission and Hell in a Cell, there are also brand-new ones, like Special Guest Referee, Ambulance Match, Casket Match and Gauntles Match.

The returning Backstage Brawl fights also feature new interactive environmental objects, like elevators and vending machines. The game features many improvements - brand-new finishers, the Trading Blows mini-game, being able to jump off the top rope onto a group of enemies outside the ring or new weapons, like trash cans, guitars and microphones.

Game modes

WWE 2K24 supports singleplayer and multiplayer (online and local). There are many different modes:

1. Showcase... of the Immortals, in which we can recreate the most important events in the history of WrestleMania;
2. MyRISE, a career mode consisting of two stories about a beginner athlete, male (Undisputed) and female (Unleashed) climbing the wrestling ranks;
3. Universe - a sandbox in which we can bring our own vision of WWE to life;
4. MyFACTION, in which we collect cards and create our own team of wrestlers, then lead them to victory, upgrading their stats and competing with other teams;
5. MyGM - letting us manage a team, taking care of our fighters, finances and organizing events.
