Worms World Party Remastered Description
Worms World Party Remastered for PC is an improved version of Worms World Party released in 2001. Team17, the studio known for the original, preserved the mechanics of the game but introduced a number of other changes. The biggest one is the improved graphics - the game now runs in 1080p resolution and at 60 frames per second. The sound quality has also been improved and several features have been added - full support for gamepads, Steam achievements and rankings, as well as saving game statuses in the cloud.
Mechanics
The game does not differ from other classic versions of the Worms series. It is a two-dimensional production that requires dexterity and strategy, in which we control a group of armed worms, fighting on small maps against teams controlled by artificial intelligence or another person. The various weapons, including pistols, rifles, rocket launchers and many more, require different tactics. Some of them are suitable for attacking from a short distance, others are equipped with homing missiles, and so on. As a result, we have to move around the map during each turn, occupy strategic points that allow us to easily injure the enemy and then hide from their attack. The maps are destructible meaning that no place is safe; to top it all, they are islands surrounded by water, and falling into it means instant death. As a result, players don't have to deal direct damage, but they can, for example, throw a grenade right next to an opponent standing near a chasm, so that the force of impact throws them off the map. There are many possibilities of fighting, so it takes a lot of time to get to know all the nuances. Worms World Party Remastered is at the same time very accessible and can even be used as a party game.
Game modes
Worms World Party Remastered is best suited for multiplayer (local and online), where up to six people can play at once. Apart from rivalry, it is also possible to cooperate with other people, performing more than twenty missions prepared by the developers. In addition, the available modes include Training, Time Trial or Deathmatch with AI of constantly increasing difficulty level.

Worms Series
Maintained in a humorous convention series of turn-based strategies with logical and arcade elements, in which the main roles are played by the title bugs. The brand is developed by the Team17 Digital development studio. The father of the series Worms is British game designer Andy Davidson. The first commercial installment of the series was released in 1994 for personal computers (Amiga, PC and Mac) and fifth-generation consoles (PlayStation, Mega Drive and SNES). The title was considered an extremely successful combination of Cannon Fodder z Lemmings, thanks to which it very quickly gained great popularity among gamers. The development team of the studio Team17 Digital almost immediately began work on add-ons and a full-fledged sequel. In total, over the course of almost 30 years, more than 18 games included in the mainstream series were released, as well as a number of spin-offs and re-releases. Including the series lived to see its own battle royale mode, golf or pinball.
