World War II: The Battle of Britain is an aircraft simulator that takes us back to World War II. The warfare takes place near the English Channel, during the historic "Battle of England", between the squadrons of British and German fighters.

World War II: The Battle of Britain starts with training missions as a young, uneducated cadet. All in order to gain experience and become a full-fledged RAF or Luftwaffe pilot. During the air clashes we will sit at the helm of one of the 70 combat planes, starting with an ordinary fighter and ending with massive bombers. We will be fighting over an area of more than 270 square miles, the topography of which was created using real satellite images.

"The "Battle of England" has a modified graphic engine with which we met in WarBirds III - improved audio-visual effects, implemented a new combat system, realistically modelled maps and a wide range of weaponry. In this title we also get acquainted with the original system of ranks and medals, which we will gain with the progress in the game. All of the above mentioned elements have been woven into a very convenient and easy to use interface of the program.

In single player mode we will take part in 30 missions, during which, in addition to enemy planes, we will also see ground units (tanks, armoured transporters, combat vehicles, artillery), as well as floating units: cruisers, destroyers and ships with supplies. The take-off and landing in each of our missions will be done for us by a computer, but this is compensated by the opportunity to become a canon in an airplane controlled by a computer, or a wing protecting another unit of our unit.

The whole campaign begins with a mission known as "Dynamo", i.e. the evacuation of Dunkirk. Playing the role of a British pilot, we have the task of destroying the Luftwaffe aviation and at the same time escorting our ships transporting allied troops from France to the coast of England. However, if you decide to take on the role of a Nazi airman, you will receive a mission to protect your own bombers so that they can destroy enemy troops' ships. The game ends with the operation "Sea Lion", which gives rise to a landing in Normandy.

Thanks to iEntertainment, The Battle of Britain has the ability to connect with the company's massively multiplayer online game service to conduct heavenly battles with other fans from around the world over the Internet.
