Similarly, humorously, the authors call the genre that the production represents: Online Multiplayer Fishing Game (OMFG).

The game in World Tour Fishing boils down to a competition in fishing. Players advance to the next level, up to the levels of professional fishing. There are also daily and weekly competitions. Apart from rivalry, the game also offers elements of cooperation - players can rent together boats that are used for fishing in more difficult to reach fisheries located far from the shore. It is worth noting that the title recreates real fishing places from all over the world. In the World Tour Fishing we also meet hundreds of real fish from different seas and oceans.

Fishing alone is not at all easy. Depending on the fish species and place of fishing, it is necessary to choose the right equipment and bait. Once the player is at the fishery, the actual game starts. An attempt to catch a fish will be a success if the fisherman shows the right reflexes and wins in a few mini-games.

When assessing the graphic design of this fishing production, it is difficult to avoid associations with the aesthetics known from popular films, series and anime games. Colourful digits jumping out on the screen during the fight against the fish caught on the rod make a similar impression.
