Conversion from the Dreamcast console and another part of a very popular series of sports games. We take control of a baseball team of our choice. You can choose from many different play modes.

World Series Baseball is the next installment of the extremely popular series. This game was released simultaneously on Dreamcasta. Previous World Series Baseball titles were released on hardware platforms such as Genesis Sega, Saturn Sega, and Sony PlayStation 2. The Microsoft console version does not introduce any revolutionary changes to the gameplay, offering the proven solutions of its predecessors.

The player can of course count on a very wide range of available play modes. In the Exhibition mode we take part in single competitions. Of course, the player has the possibility to choose teams, stadium, or many other options (such as modifying the duration of the game). In Playoffs mode, the team of our choice takes part in the title series of playoffs. The Season mode is even more extensive. As its name may suggest, we have a complete season to play. This mode was created mainly for those people who want to spend more time with the game. Another available mode is Franchise. In this case, the player-led team develops over several seasons. In Home Run Derby we have the opportunity to lead many famous teams and characters of this sport (including Reggie Jackson and Nolan Ryan). World Series Baseball also has a fully fledged multiplayer for two people. Players can choose between two modes - Exhibition and Season.
