Sawmill Simulator 2012 is the third installment of a series of simulation games developed by the German development studio UIG Entertainment, in which players can play the role of a lumberjack. The creators have prepared a number of missions related to, among others, cutting, log transport and operation of woodworking and cutting machines.

Sawmill Simulator 2012 is a proposal of developers from the UIG Entertainment studio addressed to people who would like to test themselves in the role of a modern lumberjack. The authors have made every effort to ensure that their work as realistically as possible reflects the reality of performing this dangerous but also fascinating work.

As in the previous scenes of the cycle, the player takes on the role of the manager of a virtual sawmill, which was faced with many tasks related to, among others, logging, log transport and tree processing. A novelty in the series is the ability to move independently over vast areas and felling trees with the use of handheld saws. Traditionally, there have also been many types of heavy equipment, which can be controlled while playing.
