Wolfpack is a cooperative submarine simulator. A group of five players plays the crew of a German submarine during World War II. Each of them has different duties, which he performs manually by manipulating the on-board instruments.

Wolfpack is a WWII submarine simulator. The project was developed by the Swedish studio Usurpator and released by Subsim.

Mechanics

The game revolves around co-operative gameplay and focuses primarily on realism. Players are the crewmembers of the German U-Boat VII submarine. In Wolfpack, players focus on sinking enemy convoys, protected by military units.

Each player controls a single crewmember. Navigating a submarine requires the joint action of several operators of different stations on board by manually manipulating switches, levers and other instruments, as has actually been the case.

In total, each crew consists of the master, the helmsman, the radio operator, the navigator, and the officer responsible for the draught level of the submarine. Everyone has unique tasks and competencies, and only close cooperation allows players to hope for success.
