One of several story expansions included in the season pass to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - a well-received first-person shooter game developed by Machine Games. The main protagonist of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - The Diaries of Agent Silent Death is Jessica Valiant, a former agent of the American Secret Service that operated during WWII.
The Diaries of Agent Silent Death is a yet another expansion to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus developed by Machine Games. Similarly to the previous add-ons, the DLC described herein is (among other platforms) available on PC, XONE and PS4.
Plot
The main protagonist of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – The Diaries of Agent Silent Death is Jessica Valiant, whom a player gets to meet in the first add-on titled Episode Zero. Jessica is a former OSS agent (American Secret Service agency that operated during WWII) and infiltrates Nazis operating in California in an attempt to discover the meaning of the Operation San Andreas they are planning to execute.
Mechanics
Unlike Joseph Stallion (the main protagonist of the previous expansion titled The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe) the main protagonist of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – The Diaries of Agent Silent Death prefers to work stealthily and eliminate the enemies from a safe distance, if possible. In combat, she utilizes a pistol with a silencer and a sniper rifle. Apart from this aspect, the expansion revolves around the formula featured in the base game – in The Diaries of Agent Silent Death a player has to fight various enemies and traverse detailed locations.
Technical aspects
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – The Diaries of Agent Silent Death can be purchased either separately or together with the season pass. The DLC described herein has been based on the same technology as Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and the developers did not implement any significant changes to the game's visuals.
