Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe is another DLC for the game Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The expansion was released on several platforms, including PC, PS4 and XONE, and was developed by the authors of the original, the team at Machine Games.

Plot

In Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe players step into the shoes of Joseph Stallion, whom you could meet in the previous DLC, called Episode Zero. The main hero used to be a quarterback in an American football team and he is now fighting with the local resistance against the Nazis, who occupy the United States.

Mechanics

In the course of the missions featured in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, the player’s main job is eliminating armies of enemies (they are not only humans, but also various war machines). Combat is very dynamic and lets the protagonist make use of an entire arsenal of inventive firearms. Interestingly, the add-on takes you on a journey across war-torn towns and cities (one of the places you get to visit in the game is the ruins of Chicago, devastated by the war) and into cosmic space.

Technical aspects

Released for PC, PS4 and XONE, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe is based on the technology used in the original game; therefore, it does not introduce any visual changes. The add-on can be purchased either separately or as a part of the season pass.
