Wildgate

Wildgate is a multiplayer sci-fi action game. It was developed by Moonshot Games studio, operating under the wings of Dreamhaven company. The mentioned publishing company was founded by Mike Morhaime, previously one of the key figures at Blizzard Entertainment.

Gameplay

In Wildgate we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Setting and characters

The game takes place in the so-called Reach, a procedurally generated fragment of space that changes from game to game. We play as various Prospectors, differentiated in terms of skills, weapons, and tools used on the battlefield.

Main goal

The pillar of the game are fierce battles in interstellar space, in which the stake is control over a powerful Artifact, the most valuable object in the Universe. Our main goal is to capture the Artifact and transfer it through the titular Wildgate or... defeat all the remaining crews who share the same objective.

Skirmishes with opponents and other issues

During battles, we can take the helm of our ship or control of the weapon installed on it, conducting accurate fire and maneuvering in such a way as to defeat enemies, while keeping it in one piece.
